Artech Lighting is a UK lighting manufacturer that designs, develops and manufactures innovative lighting solutions from our Durham headquarters, supporting projects across the globe.

As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for an organised, customer-focused Aftersales & Project Co-ordinator to join our dynamic and innovative team. This is a varied role that combines customer support, project co-ordination, logistics and aftersales service, ensuring our customers receive an exceptional experience long after their order has been placed.

You’ll act as a key link between customers, internal departments and suppliers, helping to manage projects, resolve enquiries, coordinate deliveries and maintain the high standards of service for which Artech is known.

The Role

As Aftersales & Project Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for supporting customers throughout the lifecycle of their projects, from order fulfilment through to aftersales support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing customer enquiries via phone and email, providing prompt and professional support
  • Coordinating aftersales activities, including warranty claims, replacement products, additions quotations and customer queries.
  • Supporting project delivery by liaising with production, logistics, sales teams, and customers
  • Processing orders and maintaining accurate records within SAP and ERP systems
  • Monitoring project progress and ensuring customers and internal teams are kept informed throughout.
  • Coordinating deliveries and resolving any issues relating to transport or order fulfilment
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and documentation
  • Assisting in the development of customer service processes and best practices

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who combines excellent organisational skills with a proactive, customer-first approach.

Essential:

  • Previous experience in a customer service, aftersales, project coordination or internal sales role
  • Experience working within a wholesale environment, ideally within the electrical or lighting industry
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience using SAP and/or ERP systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and delivering positive customer outcomes
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Desirable:

  • Experience within the lighting, electrical, manufacturing or construction sectors
  • Knowledge of logistics, supply chain or project administration processes
  • Experience analysing customer data and reporting on service performance
