The role:

You’ll assume a pivotal role in shaping the future of lighting solutions across diverse projects. With travel paid for, a company vehicle, yearly bonus, paid overtime, and private medical insurance.
Your place of work will be Artech Lighting HQ in Durham City, although you will be required on-site across the country to oversee installation and aftercare services.
You’ll be at the forefront of innovation, responsible for commissioning, setting up and overseeing the lighting control scope, providing meticulous off-site and on-site support to the highest standards.

Technical & engineering requirements:

DALI – Skilfully address Bluetooth control systems, DALI drivers, 1-10V, DSI and inverters using tools from Tridonic, Casambi and Hubsense.

Be familiar with the operation of D4i devices and solutions.

Conduct client training sessions.
-
Set up peripherals such as sensors, scene panels, and switch interfaces.

Engage in software configuration, grouping, scene control, corridor hold, and daylight regulation.

Assure optimal site performance through rigorous system operation verification.

Provide technical support, troubleshooting and aftercare to customers/end-users
-
Execute routine planned preventive maintenance (PPM) works.

Implement minor works alterations

Produce scheme drawings with precision.

Showcase your proficiency in IP Networking.

System fault finding

Contribute to network design with your expertise.

Execute Headend installations seamlessly.
Documentation:

Articulate your daily experiences through Site Activity Reports (SARs).

Create daily activity reports for site attendances.

Compile comprehensive onsite and remote health check reports.

Safeguard project databases through regular backups.
-
Keep site-specific documentation ever relevant and up to date.

Uphold your commitment to safety with CSCS accreditation, ensuring an up-to-date appropriate CSCS Card.

Demonstrate awareness of Electrical Safety protocols.

Stay up to date with cutting-edge systems and equipment provided by the company.

Exercise your discernment in reviewing systems for optimal product and service combinations.

Offer insightful upgrade and remedial options, advising the Key Account Manager accordingly.

Collaborate seamlessly with Sales/Commissioning Manager/Supervisor for additional days or materials quotations.
