The role:
Full time, permanent contract (37 hours).

We design, manufacture and deliver the highest quality leading-edge lighting solutions, delivering across the world from Dundee to Dubai, for every sector.
Your place of work will be Artech Lighting HQ in Durham City, although you may be required on-site for some projects to oversee installation and aftercare services.
You’ll assume a pivotal role in shaping the future of lighting solutions across diverse projects. With travel paid for, a yearly bonus, and private medical insurance.
You’ll be at the forefront of innovation, involved in the design and overseeing the manufacture of luminaires and lighting systems and providing technical support to customers and internally.

You’ll be required to:

Commission Bluetooth and DALI sytems using tools from Tridonic, Casambi and Hubsense.

Have an understanding of 0/1-10V and DSI, and inverters.

Support our production department with diagnosing faults and providing electrical schematics.

Be familiar with lighting control gear technology such as D4i, DMX, and specific relevant DALI protocols.

Conduct client training sessions.
- Diagnose faults remotely and on-site.

Knowledge of electrical devices such as sensors, scene panels, and switch interfaces.
- Quality control and ensuring conformity to ISO 9001
- Contribute to network design with your expertise.
- Keep site-specific documentation ever relevant and up to date.
You must have:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (essential).
- Knowledge of SAP (preferable).
- A background in electrical installation, testing or commissioning.
- Awareness of electrical safety protocols.
- A background of lighting controls.
- Qualification in engineering or relevant electrical field.

Exercise your discernment in reviewing systems for optimal product and service combinations.
